Composing a decision letter and deciding on reviewer comments to be addressed/overruled is THE single most important task for which we have editors, IMO. If you get a decision from a journal with zero guidance and a laundry list of unreasonable reviewer demands, the journal editor has FAILED.

We made an open repository of close relationships measures. Our goal is to catalogue all of the published self-report measures in relationship science. You can help us expand the database by suggesting measures you tend to use in your research, or by uploading your own measures! relascale.com

I was STUNNED that this model ended up being the winner. No Big 5, or Big 3, or Big Anything. Relationships measures capture positivity, layered on top of item-specific content. That's it. It feels like we need to start developing new measures from square one.

Recent work has shown how vulnerable online survey research is to LLMs. Motivated by this, we examined our online Posner cueing data from Prolific. It's concerning. We now must carefully consider when (or whether?) online behavioral data can be trusted. see our comment: www.pnas.org/doi/10.1073/...

Honest question: Can anyone explain why registered reports aren't the default in psychology? Are there good reasons why publications, and the rewards that come from publishing, are tied to the obtained results rather than the ideas and methods?

Even accepting the premise that AI produces useful writing (which no one should), using AI in education is like using a forklift at the gym. The weights do not actually need to be moved from place to place. That is not the work. The work is what happens within you.

Pro tip: go see your local cover band. Although some are meh, the vast majority are really great and some are better than the originals. They are typically a blast and cheap (~$20). We all bitch about ticket prices for big acts but you often get a better show from a <$30 show.
