My lil stream site passion project is at a good point now, it’s altstream.online. I’m about 470 hours into the project, I have two friends helping me out and about 10 people who’s been using it. It’s stable and if you’re wanting to just have fun away from twitch you’re all welcome to use it.

If you ever wanted to do some streaming, I’ve streamed for 15+ years and gave up with twitch, working on a passion project, currently about 470 hours in. It’s basic but it works. :) altstream.online completely understand if not though. No AI, No adverts, just enjoy gaming and streaming

Ugh… More AI… Can’t turn it off by the way, it will inform you to use more poggers, more ad breaks, more stream together, both vertical and horizontal modes, etc etc etc each stream, so enjoy that… 😮‍💨

There's only 50 users on the site currently and it's only me and a few of my friends working on it. But if you're curious the site is altstream.online. Originally started as a site just for me to stream on then some friends wanted to get away from Twitch / Youtube, so I've been slowly building out.

I think, if you think about it in a positive light. Because we are streamers, because we have the internet; we are able to reach people, entertain, befriend, make memories that otherwise wouldn’t happen. We make lives happier, we bring laughter and positivity. For me, it’s what keeps me going.

It hit younger me quite hard, I knew that the names we see are people with their own lives, problems and wins. But that one was tough to accept for some reason, I helped their mother download the VoDs from the account and that was it. Like you say, when we’re so deeply online, it hits different.

One friend of mine went in for surgery, for the same reason I did in January it was 8+ years ago now? There was a complication and then about 6 months later their mother got on their account and explained their passing, showed me the Obituary.

I will add pressure to this by saying that any company that claims to not hold onto your personal data after verifying you? They're lying. Ive been nitro free since the first time they tried this, voice how you feel with your wallet people. Make them really feel that squeeze.
