One of my favourite things about Lestat is that he's like 'that intense teenager there is Armand. He once cut off my boyfriends hands. Later he threw me off a building. He got his friends to kill my daughter. If I had to rate everyone I'd ever met by how much Iove them, he's top three!'

The weird part was her role in Avatar was already done. The movie was already in post-production when she got the role of Claudia. The suspicion couldn’t be accurate. Cuz she wasn’t filming anything at all after she left IwtV- which was 3 days before s2 started filming. I still think it was pay tho.

Lots of recs for #IWTV as the next watch after #Sinners. I HIGHLY DISAGREE. You can definitely tell the difference between black creatives being heavily involved and not. Is it good vampire media? Sure. But the reasons that made Sinners great are nonexistent in IWTV.

And this is not to say IWTV is bad or that it doesn’t have some great storytelling on its own. But the things that made Sinners amazing and made so many people who don’t care for horror or vampires love it, are not the same things that make IWTV good.

If the meta is written by someone who hates the books or hasn’t read them, it’s usually STUFFED w/ incorrect info, anti-Lestat assertions, conclusions drawn from the show to justify what they hate in the books or why AR was wrong about her own characters, puritanical teenager analysis, etc
