Ik kijk juist geen 'fragmenten', maar hele items voor context. Het "links is steeds minder dit-of-dat" is zulke valse framing. De rechterflank roept zo vaak dat "links moet meebewegen". Nee, als het om gelijke (mensen)rechten gaat, dan ga ik niet meebewegen met iemand die dat kapot wilt maken.

Wat Kirk deed was niet "luisteren naar andere stemmen", maar een goed geöliede content-machine waarbij hij tieners probeerde te overrompelen met 'gotcha-vragen' in hoog tempo zonder oprechte ruimte te geven om te antwoorden. En om alles wat ik opsom enkel "verontrustend" te noemen is veelzeggend.

Andere is de Rick Scott controverse. Slecht verwoord, video ter verheldering. Eentje waar hij wederom gelijk heeft. Rick Scott heeft de grootste medische fraude gepleegd (~1.2 mijard) en is beloond met honderden miljoenen en senatorschap ipv echte vervolging. Tot zover mn relaas, tijd voor weekend!

Is Piker een onberispelijk figuur? Absoluut niet, hij zegt zelf van niet. Er zijn genoeg voorbeelden waar hij uitspraken of terugtrekt of verheldert; dat die van 9/11 in context van 'political blowback theory' was. Heeft hij gelijk in en prominent rechts zoals Heritage Foundation is het er mee eens.

Je zit duidelijk in het "clip farm" algoritme. Wat Piker (o.a. in die filmpjes) belachelijk maakt(e) is de poging van rechts om Kirk tot een (religieuze) martelaar te verheffen (het "We are Charlie" Kirk lied, standbeelden en verplichte lessen op scholen). Zoals Hitler dat met Horst Wessel deed.

#Sanderendekloof was erg interessant, met name de verschillen in communicatie door gemeentes. De VNG mag wat mij betreft een (als het kan verplicht) draaiboek creëren hoe zulke keuzes te communiceren. Zeker bij gemeentes die hun communicatieafdeling niet serieus nemen/slecht hebben ingericht..
