Ukraine blows up Russian data centres and immediately and mysteriously online talk about Germany’s Far Right AfD virtually disappears. Stop Putin you stop the Far Right.

This is why I think the punishment will be something City can live with. Ultimately, the Premier League needs a product and for that, they need an end to the case. If it drags on, it's a shadow over every club. There'll be a negotiated pubishment

Atmosphere at Anfield seems pretty muted. Maybe it's more hostile in the ground than it seems on TV

IDK, maybe there was a better use for £370m than Isak, Wirtz, and Barcola

More often than recruitment departments would like to admit. FWIW, I think it could still work, probably needs Isak to adjust how he plays again

I think it's as much a Wirtz/Isak (or Wirtz/Ekitike) problem as anything else. At Newcastle, Isak liked to get the ball in the same spaces Wirtz occupies and then run at defenders. Wirtz would probably be better with a striker like Firmino or Havertz, or Schick as he had at Bayer

I think it's just a neutral space. I've started adding more people but I don't think I've ever posted there. Maybe one day, when I've been humbled by something

It feels like I've spent the last week reading about how the Tories are pretty much on the verge of taking Downing St. And here we are

Sad times. The heating went on this evening. I was hoping to get to November without turning it on but I was outvoted

*cough* I think more of you should read about the general election in Spain next month. There's a considerable danger that the country with the 4th biggest economy in the EU goes full fash in a few weeks

Honestly, this needs to be the approach. No one should even be indulging this batshit debate. Don't normalise it, don't let cranks and weirdos even get to appear as though they are part of normal discourse. Treat them like they're people who believe in leprechauns

You can already feel the desire to impose a severe punishment receding, at least among EPL executives. They're now starting to worry about "the product"

An iron law of the civilian version of Traitors is to never let them know if you're smart. It's instantly suspicious and you'll be banished early. Obviously harder for Hannah Fry to keep quiet

I'm always surprised just how deeply radicalised some people have become about ULEZ and, increasingly, EVs. It makes me really wonder about their information environment

It's pretty funny the extent to which these tech masters of the universe can be made to kiss the ring. Every political leader should take note: business leaders will bend to your will, not the other way round

Here's a thought: rather than Premier League clubs seeking compensation, why not fine City a massive amount and redistribute it to EFL clubs, which actually need it? www.bbc.co.uk/sport/footba...

As has been said before, politicians tend to focus on the jobs you see in children's books and, for good or ill, Warhammer creators don't feature heavily in those. Though you would expect politicians to have a more sophisticated understanding of the UKs economy
