Reading a fantasy book the MC lives on a plantation. The author I don’t think is from the states so I get it, but I’m struggling with it. Words have different context depending on where u live, we need to be mindful of that. I’ll add a tw in my review for others. #booksky

Totally agree. Besides shifters and vamps, I think of everything else as inter species. Though for a while Drow were treated the same as BIPOC folks. I would love if there were descriptions in the blurbs.

While I’m speaking about coercive sexual assault, Asexual folks face a high percentage of sexual assault thru coercive s$x. It’s not talked about enough. Enthusiastic consent is needed unless you and ur partner have had prior conversation and even then both parties should be on the same page
