@citizensimpeachment.com has been asking every member of Congress whether they’ll support impeachment after midterms. The vast majority refuse to answer. I think THREE dems are “yes/maybe” and one was a clear no.

I'd really like to see leadership calling for impeachment and removal, regardless of whether they have the votes to get it done. Same way we called for marriage equality before we had the votes. A leader's job is to lead. If a genocidal threat isn't impeachable, then nothing is.

If therapists are not subject to any sort of viewpoint discriminatory regulation by the state, then states cannot ban or regulate them from telling minor clients to drink bleach or kill themselves because that would be viewpoint discriminatory.

The idea that “performative” actions are meaningless seems to be a weird misconception held by democrats, and then only when it comes to impeachment. When dems bring other votes they know they won’t win- budget, war powers, whatever- “look they’re fighting!”

Lot of people here don’t know that any individual congressperson can force an impeachment vote; and ahave a weird concept of what fighting back looks like. Dems are still voting for Trump nominees. In the last impeachment vote many refused to vote to even have a 1 hour discussion on it.
