Ivy is buzzing, literally, with bees, hoverflies, wasps, and butterflies at this time of year. It provides vital late autumn pollen and nectar to vast numbers of insects. Its berries are vital for birds in the depths of winter. Ivy is amazing. Preserve it.

200m3 per second is currently being released. The discharge tipping point for flooding of the city is about 250m3. Remember also that the ESB released 550m3/s in 2009 which caused devastating flooding in the city.
