Multiple hues of blue and grey make up the details of the dragon's scales. The crest of the dragon starts from just above the eye making several ridges colored in oranges toward their centers and moving to a purplish blue as it comes closer to the skin. Grayish webbing can be seen between the spines of the crest linking them together. To the right side the tail can be seen rising out of the water in the background on the right side.

I'm still working away on the big water dragon, but I've got a very cute little dragon project lined up for either the 20% or 25% mark as a treat. It'll be a game of how long my patience lasts. It's only 3200ish stitches with some backstitching for details so it won't take long.

A quick Piplup to put on my desk. Pricked myself twice embroidering the eyes with my cross stitch needles but got it done. Thus ends my plush break and a return to working on my water dragon cross stitch project. #pokemon #crochet

Haven't done a drawing update so here's a quick one. In March I realized I was behind so I started doing two at the same time...it's May so yeah. Kitty dragons hind haunches need some help but I'm still working out it's details and stuff too, very heavy wip. #wip #drawing #dragons

Stegosaurus is done and will be delivered to its owner this Saturday at their birthday party. Wasn't a bad one to knock out pretty quick and burn some of my bulky/super bulky yarn on. #crochet

Daughter has a 3D printer pen that's kinda fun to play with. At her request I did my best to make her second favorite villain from Gravity Falls: Giffany.

Here's the January dragon. Tanzanite, Garnet, and Amethyst were the stones and the primary colors i tried to utilize. Invested in a small pen set that I'm planning on playing with going forward. The background was an attempt at a sunset sky. #drawing #dragon #colorpencil

A red dragon with a blue along the edges of the back, belly, ears, and in a stripe down the four legs. There are light purple plates along the belly nearly all along the length of the tail. Along the back and most of the tail are short, stocky light purple spikes. The two wings are raised with the outer part of the red and the inner wing being a mixture of blue and red. A purple claw tip can be seen on the middle of the wing. The dragon appears to be standing on uneven brown ground with the sky starting orange and yellow and moving towards the blue and dark purple of twilight.

Shiney Sylveon done. Halfway through embroidering the right ear I decided to yank out the thread and embroider yarn and I like the look of it a bit better, makes it look fuzzier. This little guy will be a nice addition to my desk at work. #crochet #pokemon

Sylveon the Fairy type eevee evolution. Most the body is white with the paws ending in blue. The head has a blue cap covering most of it coming down to a point between its two pink eyes right above the nose. There's a small smile done in thin black yarn. The long ribbons are mostly white with tips that are light pink with a band of dark pink and blue before going back to white. One ribbon goes around the left ear and the other the chest. There are two bows with blue in the middle and white on the edges. One bow is in front of the left ear in front of the ribbon. The other is on the chest in front of the other ribbon.

My daughters and I made gingerbread cookies this weekend. First time we've ever made them. Will be doing it again later this week in an attempt to make a homemade gingerbread house.

Continuing along the top portion of Santa, I took a small detour to start cleaning up the bottom. I had to frog some stuff around the poinsettias to fix an error I literally made years ago and am just now catching. #crossstitch #wip #wipWednesday

Vulpix is all done. Other than the tails and hair this one wasn't too bad. I'm cool with how few minor details there were and it came together nicely. Up next is Bulbasaur to round out the original starters. #crochet #pokemon

The winter dragon in all its detailed glory is done. I've attached the picture prior to the embroidery just as a showcase of how much it pops when all the little details are added, even though they take a good bit of time to do. Now for Santa... #crossstitch #dragon
