YoshiP telling Hamaguchi at #xivfanfest: "I want this guy to make Final Fantasy XVII - I think that's probably the highest praise you can get" - and I realise this is the first official mention of FFXVII - and I couldn't agree more! So heartwarming to see Naoki², the saviours of FF 😭

Farage's only real opponent in that farce of a by-election he caused being Count Binface is the best thing I've seen for a while. He's embarrassed either way. I'm shocked all the major parties aligned on not standing candidates.

I find myself fucking exhausted with political discourse in the UK these days. People so idiotic to have voted for Brexit for "anti-immigration" reasons (even though it was made clear that it wouldn't help) only to continue to vote for the same dipshits that sold them the lie for the same lie AGAIN.

Just finished reading Eliot Schefer's duology The Darkness Outside Us/ The Brightness Between us and thought they were fantastic. Good Sci-Fi makes us ask the really big questions and this series does it in spades. I want more 🫠 (also kudos for the weirdly accurate Glasgow stuff in book 2!)

Me with a book hangover having just finished the Captive Prince trilogy. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The Summer Palace was a necessary read to help ease the pain of the story being over!

Can't recommend this one enough, it was a fantastic and surprising find in my local queer bookstore. @finnlongman.com thank you for this, it was an excellent read (and listen!)

Finally managed to obtain some MM books in the wild. Had to look through a list of 25 authors to finally find a couple in stock mind you, but im pleased to have them nonetheless! I've already read Oceans Echo, looking forward to digging into the rest!

I just finished reading (listening to) a 9 book series (Cut and Run by Madeline Urban/ Abigail Roux) and there is now a gaping void in my life. The writing improved as the series went on, I have SO MANY THOUGHTS. #mmromance #mmbooks

I've never been more certain the US is conducting a social experiment using bots and outrageous actions against its own citizens to see how far it can push the Overton window to the right before ordinary citizens will actually push back.

I literally think FFVII might be one of the most "woke" games ever made, its part of what makes it so unique, particularly for its time. People are so stupid 😂

Mike Gamble's post about #N7Day sent me into a spiral about Bioware's constant need to hype up *nothing* and inability to create a game since 2012 that doesn't live in development hell. I'm just sorry to all the people who worked there and watched them turn gold into ash over the last decade+
