I'm so sorry for what you all are going through. I hope she is able to pass on peacefully. ❤️

Puddle @leavethepuddle.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Okay the movie Digger is insane. Everyone should watch it. I went in blind and the first fifteen minutes I wasn't sure I'd like it, but it was actually fantastic.

Haha not nearly as impressive when you see how much I need to look up, but thank you. ☺️ It's called 猫と罰, Cat and Punishment. About a cynical cat in it's ninth life who finds a home in a bookstore with a woman who can talk to cats.

But I've got a very strict schedule now. At least 10 pages a day, so I'll be done on October 9!!! Today is my twelfth day of the schedule and I'm keeping up.

Agreed! This is always my answer to whether humans are good or bad. We're good to our in-groups, bad to our out-groups. The extent of each varies considerably.

I was in a bookstore and an author came in and saw their own memoir on display and started crying. Very sweet moment! Everyone go read Someday We Won't Remember This by Doc McLemore, I guess? (I haven't read it yet)

She's still great overall, it's not like her whole personality has changed, but it clearly causes some issues in her life. Makes me again think about how we can all become disabled at any moment.

Puddle @leavethepuddle.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Man, my bff from college has developed epilepsy and it sucks to see the changes she's had to deal with. The underlying condition and the medication itself messing with her head.

I love it when a friend invites me to their house and it's messy, even dirty. 1. I'm allowed to not be perfect if they aren't either. 2. They trust me to share their imperfections.

My luck for getting an empty seat next to me on planes is insane. I'm sure this is just some cognitive bias, but it feels like more than 50% of the time I fly solo this happens.
