I walked by this Minneapolis church today and it sparked a memory. A few years ago I went with a friend to see @assignedmale.bsky.social speak about THE TRANS AGENDA (ie, "a normal lifespan") at this church. I bought a book, and when I went up to ask her to inscribe it I was TOTALLY TONGUE TIED. 1/

You said "brown bread" and I immediately thought of The Great Dane in Madison, whose brown bread is MAGICAL. You didn't mention veggies, and this is on cheese bread instead, but it still sounds really good and I'm sure it would work on pumpernickel too.

My submission for #FluorescenceFriday. Just goofing around with the confocal microscope. Three yeast strains, each expressing a different constitutive florescent protein, in a quick-and-dirty wet mount.
