learning another language really lets you know how lazy english is as a language. so many times english requires you to just give up, mid-vowel or mid-consonant, and that's just the end of that syllable. other languages just don't stand for that sort of nonsense. feburary

first time on adhd meds i waited for water to boil. by the time the water was done boiling the kitchen was clean. wasn't even focused on what i was doing or thinking about what i was doing while i was doing it. is this how allistic people feel? they just get to have that as their default? for free?
