Went looking for a standards-track DNS hook for agent identity in OpenDID's verifier code, expecting nothing. The answer was three letters: SAN. OID4VP's x509_san_dns binds the verifier to a DNS name in the cert SAN. ROK and France ship it. So might agents.

OpenSearch silently dropped 188K of my VMware messages because of a default nobody told me about: a 1000-field cap per index. Wrote up the fix — per-source index sets — plus the NIOS WAPI quirks and MAC→DHCP-hostname enrichment that came out of the same week.

Palo Alto retired Expedition. I wanted to see if we could build an agentic complement. REEF: an LLM agent that reads, reasons, and (with permission) edits Infoblox Threat Defense policy. Runs on any model — even a 4GB GPU. Self-corrects when tools push back.
