Trump and Republicans are terrified of policies that curb their own wealth and power, and the wealth and power of the oligarchs that bankroll them. That's why they're amping up the fearmongering about "socialism."

When my kids were younger, the last weeks of summer before school started were pure chaos, as I tried to cram in more time for fun, back-to-school shopping, and curing summer slide. I wish I could go back in time and tell myself to relax, breathe, and simply enjoy: self-care FTW, for all of us.

Writing can be a solitary and often thankless career. Comments like this make it all worth it! I'm so happy this little guy loves the Meet Your World series. 🥰
"Just wanted to drop a quick line to say that my little guy LOVES these books. We got Honey Bee from the Dolly Parton Imagiation Library project. It was sweet to see that even at 10 months, he would pick the book out of a little bookshelf of about 20 or so books, bring it to me and sit in my lap, waiting for me to read it to him again. Unfortunately this one was paperback (not the most suitable for little guys - lesson learned, though!) so he wore it out in a month or two, but he loved it so much that I bought him a replacement board book. Recently we also got him the Snake and Raccoon books, which are hits, too. Thanks for writing these!"
