as a sewist i really appreciate that the hand sewing minigame in #runtVN is accurate and actually mimics the motions of the different stitches, lovely touch! could've just been one-click-and-you're-done type of deal but extra love and care was put into it!

This is exactly it. The work is the point.

When I assign analysis, I am not trying to extract a polished product; I am trying to put the student’s mind through resistance in order to make it stronger. Offloading the struggle to a chatbot does not “free students up for higher-order work.” It deprives them of building the strength to do any substantial cognitive work at all.

It really frustrates me that we continue to nominate and give awards for queer content to big AAA assholes doing the bare minimum with their eyes rolling and lips curled when there are so many queer indies out there putting their hearts on platters that get ignored because they don't have the budget
