20 ADHD EXPERIENCES THAT FINALLY HAVE NAMES:

1. body doubling - you can't start alone, but with someone nearby, it happens

2. time blindness - there's no "later." only now, or not yet 3. rejection sensitivity - one short reply and the whole day is over 4. hyperfocus - four hours hone on something that wasn't even the point 5. task paralysis - three things on the list, still can't move

6. revenge bedtime procrastination - staying up late just to own a few quiet hours

7. doom piles - the chair knows, the corner knows.

8. object permanance issues - if it's not visible, it doesn't exist right now 9. the wall of awful - a simple email feels like climbing something 10. sensory overload - fine sound, that's all it takes

11. emotional flooding - fine, then not fine, within the same breath 12. analysis paralysis - asked what you want for lunch, system crash 13. waiting mode - one 4pm thing and the whole day belongs to it 14. interest-based nervous system - "just do it" doesn't work when the brain won't ignite

15. shutdown - words stop coming when everything gets tos loud 16. masking - performing okay, every day, until there's nothing left underneath

17. justice sensitivity - you cannot let it go. it's not a choice

18. stimming - the small movements. that bring you back to tourself 19. info-dumping - it's not a monologue. it's what love sounds like for you 20. the ADHD tax - the late fees. the duplicates, the subscription you forgot again

you weren't failing. you just didn't have the language yet. now you do.
