As far as I can tell we’re done as a democracy. With military invasion of US cities, Doge being able to access sensitive material (which will be weaponized against us), it’s just done. We’re toast. With DNC still trying to squash any progressive or liberal candidate there really isn’t any hope

It occurs to me as I read comments saying Republicans have “lost their way”. Can someone really lose their morals, principles and values as easily as we’ve seen with Vance? He once called Trump Hitler. For me, it begs the question, did these traitors ever have American values in the first place?

I remember many times in America that were darker for some, oppressive and hopeless for many. I remember the one thing, the single solitary one thing that changed it was people being brave enough to stand up, speak up and risk everything. I have to remember this and America does, too.

And I have to remember a time in America when I went to it’s capitol, stood on the steps of the Supreme Court and shouted with 100s of others “Money is not free speech.” And the next day seeing private security goons blocking citizens from entering there. With Capitol police watching in disgust.
