The best way to help victims of natural disasters is not to send clothes or food etc. it is to send cash to disaster relief organizations who are on the ground & know what the immediate needs are, they have relationships with suppliers & can leverage your $$ increasing your impact. #California

So I haven't bought specific health insurance for out-of-country travel, but the general trip insurance policy had "medical concierge" benefits that I definitely used and appareciated.

I was in Canada. I didn't have enough of my prescriptions. My travel insurance managed to get me a telehealth appointment with a Canadian doctor, who called in my three Rxs to the closest pharmacy. Policy paid for the telehealth visit. AND all my extra hotel days.
