I've once again exhausted my search unsuccessfully. The Geocities Gallery seems to be only pages that were still up at the time the site shut down; the personal page in question was deleted at least a decade prior. The author wrote three articles for the TGForums Archive in 1996, then vanished.

Running a Mac OS 8.1 / Netscape 2.0 emulation in a browser window, and... HOW DID I EVER GET ANYTHING DONE BACK THEN?! I keep instinctively wanting to right-click and open links in new tabs but there is no such thing. Back, Forward and Home only. And I'm squinting at the 640x480 resolution.

Supposedly an opportunistic snap provincial election will be called in an hour, right on top of the every-four-years municipal election. Folks are unhappy about this. So I'll get to spend the next month biting my nails wondering if my access to trans health care will be rescinded by Halloween.

There's an intersection down the road from my place that I call The Meat Area. A few years back someone dumped a couple of pounds of deli meat all over the sidewalk, and there it sat for like a month, in the summer heat. No one came to clean it up. Up until last year there was still a dark stain.

I started growing mine out at age 15 right when my egg cracked. My excuse, like yours, was I was sick of getting the "sit on a chair in the kitchen and get buzzcut" every few months to save my parents a few bucks at the barber and then constantly getting bullied for it at school.

Oh boy do I ever have feelings about this. I was raised in a household & attended schooling where art was ABSOLUTELY a competition and I got left at the start line every time. As an adult I eventually ended up in IRL artistic spaces that were the same way. All I was ever good for was Carrying Water.

But I tried to understand hyperpop, I wanted to support artists, but with only a couple of local exceptions it all sounds like disorganized chaos to me. I guess I'm old now. Sorry.

I got these genes in spades from my mom's side of the family even *before* HRT. Which is mostly a good thing, with the exception of shredding the inner thighs of leggings in a couple of months, or trying to walk any distance wearing shorts in hot weather. Ow.

I'm not sure I have an answer for this. I survived transitioning nearly 25 years ago, after being gatekept since the mid 90s? Now I have survivor's guilt. I tried to help out other trans folks as best I could for whatever good that did. Nowadays I just keep my head down & try to stay out of the way.

I was delighted to get the chance to wear a broomstick skirt for the first time as a teenager in the mid 90s. Comfy *and* cool *and* Skirt Go Spinny... Which was great up until the point when I encountered stairs, and no one had taught me to hike the front of the skirt up... instant faceplant. 😵‍💫

I was lucky to be able to see this for the first time all the way through in an actual theatre. (Previously just bits & pieces on the internet.) And I have a copy of the soundtrack. It's wild that this bombed on its theatrical run everywhere except Winnipeg for some reason where it was a smash hit.
