Ok, you all have to watch The Residence on Netflix. Classic who-done-it with many comedic moments and well shot!

I want to learn and start building with Go next. Not ashamed to say that about 60% of this is because I find the Gopher mascot so adorable.

I pray they release a blog about this so I can write about streaming processing architecture. As much as I was complaining, I felt so bad for the SREs because I’m sure they tried their best.

I referred someone, and although they didn't get the job, they arranged coffee chats with some of the team members. If you can't get the interview or the job, the next best thing is to expand your network by simply getting to know people.

Alright, Bluesky has grown so much. Time to go on another follow spree of folks who are in and talk tech! I have to check these starter packs out.

Popular Reddit app, Apollo, to shut down because Reddit’s new API pricing would cost $1.7M/month or $20M/year. Elon’s really set the bar for big tech companies to show their true colors from layoffs to price gouging on API access.

New API pricing may mean the end for the popular Apollo Reddit app

Early in 2023, Reddit announced that it would begin charging for access to its API, and that price may kill off Apollo, the best client app out there.

Intriguing, highly technical mega-thread by Paul. Love it. Some of this goes over my head, but still fascinating to be a ground floor witness to something being built in in public.
