Integrity is on the ballot. A recent article in the Boston Herald highlights that six out of 11 of our MA members of Congress received failing scores - Clark being the worst. If we want policies that are going to transform lives, then our leaders can't be funded by corporations.

Israeli strikes hit several locations across Beirut Thursday evening, including the Saint-Therese neighborhood in the southern suburbs, a building in Zoqaq al-Blat in central Beirut, Bachoura, just south of Downtown Beirut, and the Faculty of Sciences at the Lebanese University in Hadath.

An Israeli drone strike on the Lebanese University campus killed the faculty’s director, Hussein Bazzi, and professor Mortada Srour, according to Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency (NNA). The two men were reportedly in the outdoor courtyard when the strike hit.

Lebanese officials say this marks the first time a university has been directly targeted during the current escalation.

The strikes bring the number of Israeli attacks inside Beirut to at least four in a single afternoon and evening, according to journalist Hala Jaber.

Earlier, hundreds more families joined the more than 820,000 people already displaced since March 2 after Israel ordered towns north of the Litani River emptied ahead of “expanded operations.”
