And there are MULTIPLE vice presidents (a role that didn't exist 15 year ago) who make upwards of $300-500k. Most of them do not do anything related to instruction or research. Ex: a VP of communications. A "chief of staff" to the president. We must distinguish between management and staff. 3/_

Good morning again! In 2025 #cornell reached an agreement with the Trump Admin that, among other things, threw transgender people under the bus in service of the admin's libel that trans women somehow threaten other women. Meanwhile, actual threats to women were. .. . not so important.
