Alright yall. The secret to being successful as an artist... is to just make things you like. Because success isn't the big job in the end, but genuinely enjoying your work. My big portfolio pieces from my professional jobs rarely give me the same joy looking back as, say, a sketch from the bus.

Honestly if you have any advice I would truly like to ask questions to inform myself better! I thought that at both LBX and MCM it felt a lot like prints would only sell well if they were from a popular fandom, or if people know and love your art and is actively trying to have YOUR specific prints?
