854 “Swimsuit season is here again” This is some fun, summer fluff! The illustrations are on point & the stories are pure, silly escapades. Time to see your favorite Marvel character suited up in swimwear, I highly recommend this!! #BreakfastandaComic #AngeliqueLovesComics #MarvelSwimsuitSpecial2026

853 This ending was sad. Out of all the monsters that show up in this story, the worst is humans. I most definitely recommend this. Please pay attention to triggers. This, like most stories, is complex. #BreakfastandaComic #AngeliqueLovesComics #ManifestDestiny vol 8

Day 852 The creatures are back with a bloody vengeance! So many ups and downs. This ended with a crazy cliffhanger. I can’t wait to see how this is all tied up! #breakfastandacomic #AngeliqueLovesComics #Comics #ManifestDestiny vol 7

850 I’m invested in this story & can’t wait to see what happens with everyone, this volume had to do with every one’s trauma. I definitely have my favorite characters & I love the art. The design of the creatures are spot on. #breakfastandacomic #angeliquelovescomics #manifestdestiny vol 5

Angelique Madere @angeltrin1.bsky.social · 26/06/2026

849 Well this one just got darker, like the story continues to suck me in, but damn that’s twisted!! The format of going back & forth btwn 2 different expeditions is a bit confusing. I’m excited to see what happens tomorrow in vol 5. #breakfastandacomic #angeliquelovescomics #manifestdestiny vol 4

848 The ending of this volume did not fill me with joy. As soon as I started this one, I didn’t look up or eat anything until I read the last page. The story is getting darker. It holds my curiosity & I can’t wait for the next volume. #breakfastandacomic #angeliquelovescomics #manifestdestiny vol 3

847 The story continues to piss me off & drag me in. I can’t wait to see what happens with everyone! But do they have to have rape be such a big thing? The story is intense and getting more-so. There are some real complex characters. #breakfastandacomic #angeliquelovescomics #manifestdestiny vol 2

Angelique Madere @angeltrin1.bsky.social · 22/06/2026

Day 846 As y’all know, I love historical fiction. This is based in 1804, when women were property. The misogyny is real. If you like body horror, supernatural historical fiction, then this is the comic for you. #breakfastandacomic #angeliquelovescomics #comics #ManifestDestiny volume 1

000

Angelique Madere @angeltrin1.bsky.social · 21/06/2026

845 The art is in color, it has a very retro feel to it, it is absolutely gorgeous! Each chap is a vignette into the 2 main characters lives. The story has no real tension. If you are looking for sweet story & gorgeous art, this is for you! #breakfastandacomic #angeliquelovescomic #veil vol 1

Angelique Madere @angeltrin1.bsky.social · 19/06/2026

844 This has an interesting premise. It just doesn’t make much sense. This is based in Texas & there is time travel & there is a great joke about the Alamo. But, this is a very discombobulated comic. I just can’t recommend this…damn it. #breakfastandacomic #angeliquelovescomics #Tankers

000

Angelique Madere @angeltrin1.bsky.social · 18/06/2026

Day 843 The premise of this is quite fun. Unfortunately I just could get over how bad the one, lone woman on the team was treated. I kind of like how it ended, but there was no clean tie ups. I just can’t recommend this. #breakfastandacomic #angeliquelovescomics #COWL vol 2

842 So this gave me MadMen vibes, the complete patronizing way that the women superhero’s were talked down to just made me burn. I just can’t get over that, I have lived through it. Will try to continue vol 2, tomorrow. #breakfastandacomic #COWL vol 1 #ChicagoOrganizedWorkersLeague

841 This is a fascinating premise. I used to read books about post apocalyptic times all the times. If you like zombie stories or post apocalypse stories, this would be a great comic for you. I didn’t enjoy it like I had hoped. #breakfastandacomic #angeliquelovescomics #NewsFromTheFallout

839 This story is a world building comic, it also jumps around in time. This makes for a confusing story. I’m hoping there will be more to this, I am expecting that this will be expanded. I like the colors & illustration. #breakfastandacomic #angeliquelovescomics #comics #Spectors vol 1

836 I love the art. Totally recognize all of the cartoon characters. The realistic cartoon vs cartoony is fun, ex. Space Jam, Looney Tunes Back in Action. The story slows down but art works great. I really want to know what happens next. #breakfastandacomic #angeliquelovescomics #UncannyValley vol 1

818 Honestly I’m not sure what to say. I love the art, the line drawings are so clean and then so chaotic & full of movement when there is a fight. The story is what has me questioning. I also have one more vol that I will read tomorrow. #breakfastandacomic #angeliquelovescomics #Hellsing vol 2
