If Pound Foolish is as good as his other works, I'm sure it'll be one of the best things I read this year!

I've been looking forward to this book from the second I heard the premise. Football is an integral piece of me, I cannot imagine my life without it. But loving this game gets more complicated every year. I can't wait to read Harris explore this internal conflict with his typical insight and wit.

Guess I'll have to pause my first reading of The Big Clear, this is a Pound Foolish house now! @harrisfootball.com

Matt Colville's Priest is the best book I've read this year.

highly highly recommend john prine - the tree of forgiveness. a damn good sendoff from a country lend. an about life, legacy, and dying with your head held high. the closing track, 'when i get to heaven' never fails to make me laugh & bring a tears to my eye. it'll always make me think of my grandpa

aren't we amphibians is probably my favorite band right now. they're loud, catchy, emotional and weird. if I can't scream along with your hook then enjoy a horn solo I don't want it! emo is as good now as it has ever been.

some thoughts: it looks this collage didn't capture anything that I listened to offline (while traveling). I think it's also missing some other stuff from the beginning of April.

A little later than I planned on this albums post, had to get back into the groove after vacation. This gives a pretty good distillation of my taste: Modern Critically Acclaimed Albums, Indie Pop from ~2010, Rap from ~2020, and a Noisy, Emo-adjacent rock. Let me know if you love anything here!

some thoughts: forever changes by love is the best album here. if you are a fan of 60's psych, rock, or folk I highly recommend you check it out. give me skramz recommendations! I love foxtails and I Hate Sex, but don't know much else similar in the genre.
