Are you a member of a running club and want to give back to the running community. How about doing a checkpoint takeover for a @canarytrails event. If you're interested email volunteer@canarytrailevents.com for more details and to get involved

Why is 90 mins “swimming” with my 4yo and 6yo boys more tiring than running 20 miles!!! 😴😴😴😴

000

Can you cut offs to the track for me too, adds to the experience 🤣

Love a weekend dot watching… a whole week… now that’s something else 😁

Awful to see a Hut 2 retirement. That would be heartbreaking!!! Tim was a hero battling through to the end 👏👏👏

Yes they made it! I’ve had the same issue with the timeline too, been looking at settings to try and sort it. No joy so far!

💯 tough last couple of days for all but especially Tim and Heine - they did awesome. It’s a hell of a mental grind!

I’ve already got #DotWithdrawl symptoms. Thinking of getting the kids to walk around the park with an iPad so I can track them 🤣🤣🤣

Looks like the kip in the church has sorted Tim and Heine out… they’re motoring up to Hut 1 now… not far now and the glory of a @spinerace.bsky.social finish awaits!!! COME ON!!! 💪💪💪 #spinerace

I said “never again” after full Winter in 23. I’ve since been back for full Summer (x2), a Winter Challenger North with another Full Summer pending this year! It’s damn addictive 🤣🤣🤣 - again, WELL DONE such an awesome achievement!

020

“only” - I’ve done both and The North is still a MASSIVE challenge, you’ve still got to grind it out in the time you have! Huge congratulations… full next? 🤔🤔🤔

It’s a beast isn’t it!!! 😬😬😬

One last push for Tim and Heine and they’ve got this. Get out by 4pm latest and they’ll be ok! Go smash it fellas! #SpineRace

Sewage works… if you know… you know… 💩🌳

DOT watching really isn’t helping me with my PhD thesis… I’m supposed to be handing in 10,000 words for review on Friday. 😬

I reckon they’ll be there around 1115… #confident 🤞🤞🤞

COME ON Tim and Heine they can definitely make this… as soon they turn right their average speed will increase and they’ll make the @spinerace.bsky.social CP at Byrness for noon. No drop bag faff so they can do it! COME ON FELLAS!!! #SpineRace 💪💪💪

1151

Even got a #Green colour schemed train… that’s some good work 😁

020

The BEST food incoming boys… the NICEST CP team you will ever meet… COME ON 💪💪💪💪 get yourselves up Padon Hill then smash it. @spinerace.bsky.social

Tim and Heine really need a get shift on when they hit the downhill to Bryness. I was in the last place group in ‘23 around the same time and we pretty much ran the last 4 miles to make cutoff!! Come on lads @spinerace.bsky.social #SpineRace

👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 @nuddypants.bsky.social

@nuddypants.bsky.social deep in the @spinerace.bsky.social messed up warped reality where just 3 miles will take way more than an hour and your brain can’t compute it! 💪🙌💪🙌💪

See you there! 😬😁😬😁

000

She could bivvy up for the night now… eat all the spare food, and have a stroll in tomorrow morning! 🤣

Apart from a little scoot of the Schil it’s all downhill from here, well done @nuddypants.bsky.social 👏👏👏

I guess it’s as good a place as any to get over it! 🤣 #spinerace

x3 full Spines (another coming in June) and somehow I STILL have to buy kit EVERY year!!! 🤣🤣🤣 - needs to be a kit swap/share system in place for events like this!

It was the “making a lead from a jumper” bit that got me! Great idea… 👍

100

5 of the best steady downhill miles into Bryness for @nuddypants.bsky.social and then the awesome food at the CP. She’s 💯 got this now! #spinerace

Nailed it… 💪💪💪 well done @nuddypants.bsky.social - 💯 certain she’ll touch that wall!!!

Such a long way too… gutted

You’re stressing me out now Tim… #spinerace

Keeping a close eye on Steven and Heine here, going to be a tight turnaround in Alston! Looks like they’re following my example from ‘23! #spinerace

Another morning with a media fail… received notification yesterday about pending inflation figures. It’s a positive result so no further notification. Growth positive this morning… guess what, no notifications! Wonder what would have happened if it was negative 🤔🤔🤔 controlling the narrative!

000

You need to get Nicky on that too!!!

What a group!!! Well done @lucygossage.bsky.social, Nicky, Kim and John! 👏👏👏

Dream team! 💪👏💪👏💪
