I still see a lot of confusion about what decompilation, recompilation and ports are and what level of effort is involved in each type of project. It's important that people understand the difference, as recompilation took a drastically different meaning that when it was originally introduced.

Also worth mentioning: because this is from the original IPA file, I have the executable. It contains many references to Quake 3 code, Ngmoco's own frameworks, and the "glue" holding everything together. Lots of symbols too. Could be fruitful if reverse-engineered against the public Quake 3 source.

Anyone here ever play an old iOS game called Eliminate Pro? It was a neat deathmatch FPS from 2009. Well, turns out it ran on a version of id Tech 3 - even I could tell at the time - which means with some elbow grease, you can load its game data in Quake 3 Arena.
