So sad to hear the passing of the great Alain Grée. His work was truly masterful and he will be sorely missed. Will post more of his gorgeously colorful work soon. #wardsmorguefile #alaingree

Cover to "l'automobile" - by Alain Grée, a colorful illustration of three kids in a Citroen car, with a doggie hanging out the back window is at the top of the book cover. At the bottom, is a Grand Prix racer car rounding a curve and a bunch of road signs.

Greetings and salutations! First off, thanks for even rocking with me. I don’t take that lightly. This one’s been on my mind for a while—niceness vs. kindness. People tend to confuse or conflate them, but they aren’t the same. Shared my perspective in my latest blog post: tinyurl.com/y4r3aabh

Nice Isn’t Always Good, and Kind Isn’t Always Easy

Last month, I posted a thread on my Bluesky account where I shared my thoughts on toxic positivity—when people dismiss negative emotions by flooding folks with feel-good affirmations instead of actual...

Being pro-Black means celebrating Black culture, history, and progress. It’s about uplifting a community that’s faced systemic oppression, not tearing anyone else down. Supporting Black empowerment doesn’t mean being anti-white—it’s about equality and justice for everyone.

Fun cartoony illustration in black and purple of a hand picking up a miniature sized Napoleon from a black hat, like a magician does with a rabbit.
