Feels like we’re stuck in a timeline where self-preservation is the only thing that matters. Everyone else be damned. And honestly? I couldn’t care less about your political affiliation. Some folks who think like me probably don’t give a fuck about me—or my place in this world.

Aging’s a trip. One day I feel like I could bench press my problems, and the next I’m googling “why does my back hurt when I exist?” I remember promoting a push-up challenge a few years back. Felt good for a while. Even inspired a few folks to get moving too. That was a dope feeling.

What a difference changing up a few things can do for one’s mental health. I mentioned last month that I left my previous job and started a new one. I’ve received more positive feedback and kudos in two months than I’ve received in the five years at the other spot.

I had time this evening… I really don’t like distractions. I also don’t care to debate folks online. However, in the spirit of transparency, and to be fair and accurate, let me expand a bit on the takes I’ve shared regarding immigration and fallen empires, which was an oversimplified take.

I don’t give a fuck how they try to spin it—immigration is NOT the grave threat to national security they keep claiming it is. The real threat? A population that’s misinformed, misled, and too afraid or distracted to question the people clinging to power.

I don’t hate this country. I hate the parasites who hijacked our institutions. Bunch of cruel simpletons hellbent on inflicting pain on the many. And for what? To scream that we’re the biggest, baddest nation on Earth? We’re not projecting strength. We’re exposing just how far we’ve fallen.

A paragraph excerpt discussing James Baldwin’s connections to Hollywood during the 1960s. It notes his friendships with Sidney Poitier, Harry Belafonte, Richard Burton, and Yves Montand, and recounts a story about Ava Gardner suggesting she play Billie Holiday, despite being white. It also mentions Baldwin hearing about Martin Luther King Jr.’s assassination while at Billy Dee Williams’s home in LA. At the time, Baldwin was working on a screenplay adaptation of Alex Haley’s Malcolm X autobiography, a project derailed due to FBI scrutiny and the studio’s alleged consideration of casting Charlton Heston as Malcolm X.

A secret service officer at yesterday’s parade reportedly said, ‘Nobody knows what’s going on.’ Shit, that line could’ve been on every group chat, press briefing, and mental health check the past six months.
A large, tightly packed crowd fills the National Mall during the U.S. Army’s 250th anniversary parade in Washington, D.C. People are looking in various directions, some appearing puzzled or disoriented. A row of portable toilets and a raised viewing platform are visible in the background. The scene is partially shaded by tree branches overhead. The image caption notes that a Secret Service officer, trying to explain the general confusion, simply sighed and said, “Nobody knows what’s going on.”

A meme juxtaposes Southern pride with an absurd news story. The top text says:
“Them: ‘THE SOUTH SHALL RISE AGAIN!’”
followed by:
“Also Them:”

Below, a news headline reads:
“South Carolina – Man died of ‘blunt force injuries’ at US zoo after suspected kangaroo fight.”
Subheadline:
“South Carolina officials investigating death of Eric Slate, 52, and conditions of the petting zoo owned by his brother.”

In the bottom right corner, a Black man looks off to the side with a skeptical, unimpressed expression, emphasizing disbelief and irony.

I’m trying to understand why people reject “solid” advice—not because of the content itself, but because of who said it. Are folks really critically thinking… or just being critical? Feels like ego—the kind that keeps people in a compromised state under the guise of “being free.”

These are the exact kinds of stories TT and his fuckalong gang want buried—claiming they ‘degrade shared American values’ or ‘promote divisive ideologies.’ What’s actually laughable? The fact that these policies, supported by government at all levels, were the very engine of division.
