I’ve seen several stories of young women describing rape and sexual assault on college campuses in the last week which strikes me not as a rise in assaults but, given the violence of some of the examples, I fear we’re back in an era of headlines about group assaults, for the Tate/Clavicular era

What happens when caretakers are targeted by CPS as “leftists”? I’m not sure why anyone would assume that if this happened to you, that you’d be able to talk about it. Solidarity requires not making those assumptions, or asking anyone to make themselves any more vulnerable to recognize shared risk.

What also sucks about this is the suspicion, with almost any email, that it’s a scam. Since my book came out I get these scam emails every week, but I’m also frequently contacted by real people—often young people—who are the very reason I wrote the book, who I am truly happy to engage with.
