Just had some of the best games of Cine2Nerdle playing against @realrobynadams.bsky.social and getting to have multiple trans women rallies, getting to see Knife+Heart name dropped, and then have an awesome rally in British horror to close it out. Hope to play her again sometime.

Big shoutout to intuit TurboTax for sponsoring my viewing of Filthy McNasty on Tubi. I love the brand synergy going on here.

Absolutely fuck Tubi. Not letting me navigate to my queue or search during the Super Bowl is garbage.

Thank you to the user that pointed out there were a few bad posts on the Hermitcraft+ feed. They've added to the feed's filters and should vanish with the next feed update. If anyone sees any other problematic posts, always feel free to tag or message me and I'll take care of them.

Didn't think it was possible, but Emilia Perez really is as baffling as everyone says it is. Feels like it should be on the Razzies list right next to Megalopolis as a respected director's weird vanity project.

Netflix really wants you to only watch what they want you to watch. The new layout on my TV app is awful. You essentially can’t see more than one thing at a time.

Highest position I’ve ever hit on the Cine2Nerdle leaderboard. Previously been 8th a few times. I was briefly 6th overall on the Classic board today and I’m cooking at the game lately. Trying to be the first person to play Skinamarink in game before Dark Match comes out and it becomes much easier.

Leaderboard for Cine2Nerdle showing morbidlyobtuse highlighted with 2058 Elo currently in 6th place.

Started what was supposed to be a Bulgarian fairy tale film on Tubi, soon realized the entire thing was dubbed over by one English narrator doing all the voices like it’s an audiobook. It became very distracting in a hurry. I hate localization so much.

Laisy Faire ✨ @laisyfaire.bsky.social · 07/01/2025

Watching the RAW debut on Netflix is certainly something. Don’t think I could stand the overly glossy look of the production week in and week out. I think maybe week 2 is when I should have tuned in so we can get to it being a show rather than just an ad for the thing I’m watching.

Ads on Plex are out of control. On the 5th 2-3 minute ad break over the course of a 90 minute movie.

I refuse to watch anymore films with bitch in the title about a stressed out mom becoming a dog. I’ve seen two of them now and neither one delivered.

Second time this year I've managed to be surprised by how filthy some films can make you feel after watching them. Watched Toys Are Not for Children (1972) just now and I feel like I'm going to end up on some kind of list after. 📽️

Cine2Nerdle Battle 2.0 came out this week, so I'm trying to shake some of the rust off. Haven't played in months. Assumed I would be terrible, but making film connections like this like it's NBD.

Do you use feeds on Bluesky? I'm curious if this is something that's faded away on Bluesky. I remember mass sharing of feeds every time a new group of users cropped up in the past. Now I rarely hear about them. Sharing my feeds page to show there's more to Bluesky than Following and Discover.

#FilmSky #Movies 🎬🎥 Choose 24 films that you sort of enjoy. One film per hour for 24 hours. If you miss a single hour start over. No explanations, no reviews, no context because nobody would ever want to know what film it is, just screenshots from Animal Crossing that will annoy your followers.

Most important bit of new lore that Dragon Ball Daima has dropped has to be this.

Hybis: Ah, I get it. You like big boobs, don’t you?
Vegeta (changed into a kid, angry and embarrassed): Shut Up! Be Quiet!

Really starting to dislike isekai. Can’t stand when an obnoxious main character from another world with pedophile vibes tries to live out a power fantasy by trying to colonize a land of goblins and the rulers of the land sit there drooling like there’s nothing they can do.
