I love that people are watching THE ESTROGEN GOSPEL all of a sudden because of the season but, fair warning, it isn't particularly Halloween-y beyond generally spooky and ghostly vibes. I released it online last December because I feared it might disappoint spooky season viewers in that regard.

Just attended a screening of QUADROPHENIA at HOME in Manchester that was advertised as being accompanied by the Daniel Farson ITV doc LIVING FOR KICKS, but disappointingly what was actually screened was just a brief extract from it as opposed to the full 39 minute film.

Apparently THE ESTROGEN GOSPEL got screened at the Trans Library in Helsinki, Finland, alongside the great T-BLOCKERS - which is wild and unexpected and delightful to hear. I hope people enjoyed my little folk-horror passion project that I made all those years back!

Earlier this year as part of our uni film course, my friend and regular collaborator Rhys Smith invited me to make a film with him based on the Greek tragedy of Orpheus. I wrote a script based on discussions we had, and the result was OPHELIA. The finished film is now available to watch. ☠️🎸🎶

Not a lot of new horror releases coming out this Halloween, eh? There are a bunch of films, sure, like WICKER and I LOVE BOOSTERS, but less horror than you'd think for the season (not none, just less). There is, however, THE DEVILS, which might catch people looking for seasonal viewing off guard.

It's a difficult life being a disabled transgender artist. Luckily for Sally, she's figured out how to only make it difficult for others. I'm delighted to reveal the gorgeous poster for my new horror-comedy THE SHAKES, designed by Eloise Hall!
