Now, if they made a “best of” collection, with all the plot relevant chapters, then I’d buckle.

This is tempting …but I’m not collecting a manga that has over 1,000 chapters, and has not end in sight.

An edit of a screenshot from The Good Place that reads "Konami figured it out? Konami!? This is a real low point. Yeah, this one hurts."

To be fair, I think the worst mainline Avatar media is still passable. The Korra PS4 game, The Search, and The Reckoning of Roku I give like 5/10. They’re not terrible, but nothing I care to ever revisit.

Still, I’m used to seeing the Roku books dead last. Curious to see your take on the second book, because I thought it was a solid improvement over the first. But I also think that first Roku book is one of the worst things in the mainline universe.

I'm gonna say something on this now, because I'm already seeing it start to pop up: Do not try to make a Bunlith vs TADC thing, like "ohh this is how you tell real trans stories" or whatever. Not only is that bullshit, but we do not pit trans creators against each other. Not in this house.

Just learned that the fandom name for Korra’s Team Avatar is called “The Krew”. Not nearly as good as “The Gaang” but it’s cute.

DC Finest - Wonder Woman: Dawn Before Darkness This is the second half of the Gail Simone run, plus some extras. Turns out one of the most critically acclaimed Wonder Woman runs is actually really fucking good.

The Legend of Korra - Book 1 Though I still think they fumbled Amon at the tail end, I absolutely love this season. The story, the characters, the subplots, I even like the love triangle. I will die on the hill that this arc is great.

I know the man is in his 50’s, but he shouldn’t be voicing anyone whose age doesn’t end in “teen”.

I love Dante Basco, and I appreciate them bringing him back for Korra… but his voice is so ill fitting for General Iroh.

I’m glad Bryke defend Korra, and don’t throw her under the bus to please the more toxic parts of the fandom.

Evil Dead A slick played straight remake of and stealth sequel to The Evil Dead has no business being this good. If you have the option, definitely watch the unrated cut.

..I'll be taking a page out of the late, great, David Lynch's handbook when it comes to answering questions + theories from now on. (4/4)

A screen shot from an interview with the late director David Lynch when he was asked to speak on his statement saying Eraser Head was his most 'spiritual film'.
Interviewer: "Elaborate on that."
David: "No."
