He had both with him but because he’d used his French one to book into the flight and didn’t know he needed a visa, that’s why he was initially denied. I go in/out with my Ausweis not my German passport!

Just witnessed awful shouty easyJet man shaming a dual citizen for not using his 🇬🇧 passport for his flight to LGW. Apparently he’d used his French one & didn’t realise he needed a visa to enter 🇬🇧. He was banned from boarding and the guy was really rude shouting loudly he wasn’t allowed to board! /1

I was so disappointed when I couldn’t find a new version of W’s favourite Igel toy that she brings me. I got some catnip balls to put in it but I’ve not seen it for weeks now. I wonder where she’s hidden it?! Haggis is adorable though, that one with her legs sticking out is 🤣

I can remember seeing my breath in my unheated bedroom growing up! 1950s maisonette. The council didn’t even install dbl glazing in the second house we lived in until the 2000s, maybe 2005-10. They’d begun to upgrade the old estate we moved from in 1990.

It’s all on the flight costs isn’t it? Most flights I book are 100-150€ with 1.5% fee. I checked yesterday and for a 1 way flight ham-mcr it was 10€ more with Opodo than with EJ 🙄. You’re absolutely right, just more ways to fleece ppl! Our Gebühr ought to cover these costs imo

Finally got an answer from my bank regarding the charges for my EasyJet flights. Bc 🇬🇧 isn’t in the EEA anymore thanks to Brexit, we now pay a fee bc EJ are 🇬🇧 company! 🤬 Hey @andyburnham.bsky.social get the uk back in the EEA asap can’t you?! Honestly, ripped off left, right and centre!

Genau!! Their advice says to choose local currency. Let’s see what the bank say. I always start in Europe though, so there shouldn’t be any conversion rate as I’m not booking UK to EU, but EU to UK return

Btw, does anyone else get charged a transaction fee from their bank when booking flights with easyJet? I book in euros (of course!) but I’m still getting a conversion/transaction fee. I’ve asked my bank why this is as it doesn’t make sense. I’m sure this is new within the last year or so.

Glad my father‘s „always be early for transport/appointments“ rule pays off. Got to the station to find my train was cancelled. No notification if they’d arranged an SEV, & I just had time to get to the market place for the normal bus! I know I shld check b4 leaving the house, but always forget 🤦‍♀️

I have a separate one for 🇬🇧. Normally I’d rem to bring that and KV card with me. Lucky I have a scan on my phone so I can just go to the Bürger counter. EuID is new, due to start next year I think. There’s already one for Auto Bescheinigung!
