@unity.com and @epicgamesstore.bsky.social's recent push into AI is damaging to the creativity that empowers the games industry. We Indies rejects the notion that such tools and services have a place in the industry and our community at large. We hold a firm stance that AI has no place in games.

I recently stumbled upon this post from Qazaq Animasia on Instagram. It's really cool to see it mentioned on Catsuka. There is also another Kazakh animation studio called Ara: www.instagram.com/ara.studios/ They mainly use Blender for their projects :D

I've been shifting my focus from Roblox to indie games 😞. They regularly make questionable decisions and don't properly promote quality games. I've been following you since I joined the platform in 2017 and your works are amazing! SBS is one of the few games I adore and still play to this day

The way Roblox is handling this whole Schlep situation is disappointing - their proritoes are truly cursed. For a better context I recommend watching "Roblox is being Sued and Investigated" by greenlegocats123 on YouTube.

Roblox actively ignores many of its problems. Their moderation system isn't actually improving. They don't sufficiently promote creative creators and games. Roblox has stopped releasing amazing games such as Egg Hunt 2017/2018 (part 2).

I hate how much companies are forcing AI down our throats as if it'll ever hold a candle to actual hard work. Whenever someone says "Oh don't bother pursuing this, it'll probably be done by AI in the future." All I have to say is: Where is the fun in that? Where is the heart, the knowledge or SOUL?
