#HenryTudor (VII) was born OTD in 1457 to #MargaretBeaufort. His father, Edmund Tudor, died before Henry was born. She had been chosen as a bride for Edmund by Henry VI, his half-brother. Margaret was twelve and Edmund was twenty-two. 1/7

Spending my day with this incredible woman 👑 Margaret of Anjou was truly a fighter. She faced every obstacle head-on and showed SUCH strength As was the case with many women during the Wars of the Roses, she rose to the challenge and fought for her family until the very end
