Lab tip: if you cut a hole in semi-split pipe insulation with a large cork borer, it works great for storing glass burets in drawers without chipping them 👍

A length of gray foam pipe insulation with a slit down the length, and a big hole cut a few inches from one end along the slit. It's laying on a lab bench next to a glass buret and a cork borer.

A drawer full of glass burets. So far about half of them are wrapped in pipe insulation. The nylon or glass stopcocks poke out through the holes in the insulation.

So... I guess I didn't check to make sure the cabinet door was all the way closed when I grabbed some grocery bags and left to buy stuff for dinner... Also I'm pretty sure I know who took advantage of my mistake, MAYS 😒
