Excited to share our latest study with @lobrylab.bsky.social! Using multiple AML models, we identified splicing dysregulation as a key feature of chemoresistance and relapse in AML. @institut-leucemie.bsky.social #ScienceTranslationalMedicine tinyurl.com/mt932jky

Splicing-associated network PAK1-CLK1/4-SRRM1 is a vulnerability to overcome chemoresistance in human and mouse acute myeloid leukemia
Chemoresistance in acute myeloid leukemia depends on an active PAK1-CLK1/4-SRRM1 splicing network that can be targeted to prevent relapse.

The mood was defiant at many of the rallies, where chants of “Scientists will not be silenced”, “Facts over fear” and “What do we want? Peer review! When do we want it? Now!” were heard. go.nature.com/3F8T6FX

Rates of #cancer in #young #adults have risen dramatically in recent years - as discussed in this article.. We urgently need to invest in #research 🧪 on early-onset cancers to understand - why? www.theguardian.com/science/2025...

Ultra-processed food? Forever chemicals? Declining birth rates? What’s behind rising cancer in the under-50s?
Research into the disease has never been more far-reaching, but there is little consensus as to what is causing the rocketing rates of diagnosis in young adults

An unexpected take on how games work, what the stakes are for them, and how game designers can avoid the traps of optimization. "Optimizing Play" by Christopher Paul is available now (and in a free #openaccess edition, too!) 👉 mitpress.mit.edu/9780262547789/opti…
