iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Yeah that wasn't the best example to lead with.

I didn't learn till today that there is a Street Fighter character named Balrog.

010

Knowing this was a Manga, I wonder if that one bit from episode 2 was there because some complaints about a recently canceled series at the time? #FXFighter #FXFighterKurumiChan #FXSenshiKurumiChan #FXSenshi

Or who are surprised that Anakin turns Evil while watching Revenge of The Sith.

000

The term "protestant work ethic" is only used by people who oppose whatever they think it refers to. There's actually no such thing.

000

I want young people who are surprised when it's revealed that Palpatine is Darth Sidious.

Sorry but I as a Millennial disapprove of even trying to achieve this. In my opinion all future new Star Wars fans should watch the Lucas Hexology in Chronological order, we need the perspective of people who genuinely experienced it the first time that way.

YouTube video by Empathy Machines

This is a YouTube Video that we Proshippers need to respond to. For once someone made what a sounds like a reasonable argument why the question of Violence in media influencing real behavior is not the same as for Sex. And I don't have a response for it prepared. youtu.be/ghNXwd0KoC4

Lanterns is another show I ultimately find distasteful but not the reasons everyone else hating on it does, not exactly. It's an example of the increasing obsession Western media with Conflict. I prefer Superhero shows where the Heroes don't all hate each other.

So Nukitashi is basically the reverse Shimoeta?

Gymnasiums have been ubiquitous long enough for Zeno of Citium to make a big deal out of his ideal City not having one.

I'm very disappointed in CinemaWins not doing Green Lantern 2011 during the current Lanterns hype.

i think that if you confuse those who are passively participating in a thing that's harming you, with those who are actively supporting it in order to harm you, it fully plays right into the latter group's strategy. this isn't even unique to this discourse, it's a pattern among many groups online.

if you insist on a battle against everyone that's not fully on your side, you're setting yourself up to battle the world. the world will stand unmoved. you kinda also just have to live with other people…

Coyote Vs ACME was hilarious, I loved it. Actually using the Peter Lorre parody character was a Deep Cut I did not expect.

Looks like this is only on OceanVeil. Is it getting a Dub?

UBI is a floor. It's a dividend. It's not about replacing jobs. It's about making sure everyone has a non-zero floor to stand on and never fall beneath, and it makes sure that everyone benefits from productivity growth. And it is about enabling everyone to *choose* what they work on, paid or not.

At the end of the day I say whichever one is easier for me to remember. I say Kara no Kyokai but also Witch of the Holy Night.

001

I'm also a little annoyed by how they decided to slander their own target audience. They assert the Eroge audience would not tolerate the Blond Elf Girl not being a Virgin, but also really wanted a route for the character who is a Mother?

100

So this show's gonna have more then one Maid?

000

I was taken aback but how much "antics" there was in episode 2 after the pilot had none. I'm hoping this is one of those cases where they're getting out of the way early.

Not to knock on whoever is voicing the MC in the Dub for Magical Explorer but why didn't they cast Greg Ayers? He's spent much of his career being typecast as exactly the stock VN character they're riffing on, this could've been his moment.

It's always a little awkward in the dub when someone has a name that sounds like the English second person Pronoun. #Zommasu

I'm Looking For a Zombie is another show I wasn't expecting. A new Zombie Apocalypse Anime with Brittney Karbowski voicing who seems to be a Non Binary character.

100

I heard about it today but the New feed on CR is not listing anything new added for this show since yesterday. Might be related to the same technical difficulties that had be watching my Wednesday shows late.

020

This is another example of a show I probably wouldn't have noticed at all if it wasn't the first Same Day Simuldub of the proper season. But I'm glad I watched it, great pilot.

So the pilot for FX Fighter Kurumi-chan is quite interesting. The opening scene plays comedically "look at the Pink Haired Anime Girl freaking out over Stocks or something". Then it plays a Fast OP the looks like an idol or Magical Girl show. Then it quickly turns serious.
