I guess I could Google this question but…. Where I live a court appeal looks at if the previous judge made some sort of technical error. Not an opportunity for new evidence to be submitted. Is this City situation the same? Not that they could possibly all of a sudden have new info to submit.

Some middle manager at Man City had to tell their IT team to custom-build a server that stopped the Premier League copy/pasting any text from the documents they handed over. "Yeah, we're innocent, but can you just make life as hard as possible for the people investigating us?" Shameless.

Awkward! 🙈 Man City are arguing the sponsorship money came from the Abu Dhabi government rather than their owners. In 2015, Etihad told the US government the Abu Dhabi government did NOT pay for its Man City sponsorship - Etihad said it funded it from its own liquidity. You couldn’t make it up. 💀

Etihad Airways’ 2015 submission to the US government says the assertion that the Abu Dhabi government paid for its Manchester City sponsorship was false, stating that Etihad funded the sponsorship from its own liquidity. The submission also says Etihad did not receive subsidies from the Abu Dhabi government and was financed through equity, shareholder and commercial loans.

I expect at least these lawsuits; -individuals such as LVG who may have lost a job -EPL, Champ and L1 teams form a class action (some L1 teams are recent EPL clubs) -Near misses such as teams who finished 2, or just missed out on UCL or Europa League to sue for compensation ….
