One way to rebuild our energy is to do things (like self-care) for ourselves, rather than doing them to improve ourselves because we think that's what someone else would want us to do. It's what we want for ourselves, & hence, we are re-investing our energy back into ourselves rather than outward.☀️

Being a rebel was the only way I felt any sense of freedom and I'm damn well glad I never lost that. Also helps me to understand others who have been in difficult situations too, to lend an ear and perhaps help them heal. Suffering is kinda like an initiation into becoming a healer. Lol

If I think about it... I'm greatful for my shitty upbringing. Being abused by my own parents and severely restricted and repressed helped me develop at least one trait that helps me in everyday life and emergencies... Being stubborn like a mule and pig-headed.
