Ughhhh I hate it when book characters annoy me with their very obvious mental health problem that would be greatly helped by just TALKING WITH OTHER CHARACTERS. I did a cheeky google and apparently there is EVENTUALLY an intervention. But until then 🫠

I'm currently reading the first book of the stormlight archive and it's good the world and characters are interesting it's just Sanderson is jumping around between characters a little too much and there's chapters where it suddenly switches between 2 people's pov with no subtext or heading about it.

Gonna start a book thread for this year. 1. To Shape a Dragon's Breath. I absolutely loved it and couldn't put it down. It was well written & full of dragons. The main character is indigenous (& the author!) & the racism she experienced was awful but she managed to change peoples perspective of her.

Also another thing that occured to me if they persist with the off peak only initial tunnel opening is when they're not running through the tunnel are they gonna be services as per normal or originate from CFD? If the latter it'll add time to my commute not shorten 🙃

So I picked up a small quick fantasy series as an easy read after reading some heavy shit lately and it's turned out to be an infuriating love triangle. Finally towards the end of book 4/5 the triangle seems to be ending. I wanted to drop it but I spent money & the plot is kinda compelling.

Adventures in the Forgotten Realms gave me DRAGONS. And owlbears! I was in my element with these for sure. I'm still sad that the little red whelp was turned into a digital-only card, but it was cool to see it used in-game all the same!

So I started a multiplayer playthrough of BG3 with my partner and two of our friends and well.. let's just say this playthrough has decisions we wouldn't normally make lol. We are also playing tactician with no reloads(including full party wipes so essentially hardcore).
