Recently found out that something that really didn't work for me in Shadows Upon Time is something that Ruocchio said he only did "out of spite" when someone complained about the narrative framing of the series And my brain hasn't been able to let that go so hopefully posting about it will fix that

I think the best thing Blizzard could do for Classic Era servers now that Forever is the focus is to have one of each expansion from TBC to Mists exist as a sort of static museum piece, like with vanilla. Miss Wrath? Grab a group of friends and go play it together! It's waiting for you.

Just went through and adjusted some of my 5 star reviews on The Storygraph to 4.5 stars to better align with my opinions with the benefit of hindsight. I'm still a pretty lenient five star giver but a lot of those were translated directly from my spreadsheet where I didn't do half star ratings.

I've finished the last book of the Sun Eater series 😭 I have so many thoughts - which I will record when I am able - but the most important is that Ruocchio-as-Hadrian has left a mark on my own writing style forever. I adore the way this story was told.
