one particular aspect that speaks to me a lot of sonic frontiers' soundtrack in particular is that a good chunk of ohtani's contributions to the cyberspace repertoire is so deeply influenced by 2000s trance and techno

A few weeks ago my girlfriend suffered catastrophic drive failure on an external HDD that contained lots of data, including rips, project files and multi-track renders for her music. If you're a fan of her music or our work in sonic sound archive please consider supporting even if just a little

As teased on @thesegalounge.com, I rewrote the article on Sega Retro about Hiro (Hiroshi Kawaguchi). Now you can read extensively about his early life and career. I hope you enjoy the way it's written, but I also hope I can keep adding to it in the future. segaretro.org/Hiroshi_Kawa...

Excerpt from the article, under the section S.S.T.Band & Lead Composer at R&D 8 (1988-1991)

As mentioned by @naeval.bsky.social , Alex Kidd designer Yoko Kobayashi/Matilda Yoko passed away years ago. Beep! published a photo of a woman working on the title screen of Alex Kidd in Miracle World but I still don't know whether it's her, Rieko Kodama, or someone else. archive.org/details/beep...
