I finished watching fantastic 4 and while I enjoyed it, it really felt like a #ttrpg session of good players with a bad GM. 2oo4 characters had marginal effect on the outcome at the end. The lack of consequences at the end. And the credits scene that's out of the book of bad DM tropes

People who are doing the crowdfunding for #ttrpgs . A simple request: Can you please be explicit in if you used AI art or AI writing tools in the campaign page of your project? I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking that if you omitting or obfuscating the use of these tools is anti-consumer.

Crowdfunding is starting to kill #ttrpgs in the same way it all but killed board games for me. Getting ripped off my indie darlings, getting charged exorbitant S&H charges (I assume most goes to handling) is killing me. This week - $130 in shipping charges for 4 books + 4 zines. There's no way.

I'm still seeing so many big names in the ttrpg space freely using AI and neglecting Alt Text. If you have any sort of reach, please consider the message this sends to the people who follow you. AI is art theft, full stop. All of it. And Alt Text is necessary to make images accessible.

One of my favorite things to do is travel to the US to go to TTRPG cons. I just got asked by a group I work with to travel to a red state to run some games in a city I really want to visit and I had to turn it down. I don't think its safe now.
