Kristen Alexander @kristenauthor.bsky.social · 6hTech issues can be distressing. I had to deal with a few today and it seems I've overcome them. But they are still anxiety making so it's a great relief that I can take a good long walk to clear my head. Saw this on one of the paths. No idea what it is but it's so pretty! 120

Kristen Alexander @kristenauthor.bsky.social · 10/10/2026Our neighbourhood has some stunning gardens. The little pink rose is ours. It struggles, each year, to produce one, maybe two blooms. It needs a good hard prune but more desperately, sunshine. The original owners planted it in what turned out to be, over the decades, shade. 030
Kristen Alexander @kristenauthor.bsky.social · 10/10/2026Perfect! I smugly thought when I typed the last full stop of the first draft. As the red pen attests, I was wrong. Hopefully things will improve by the fifth or sixth draft. 150
Kristen Alexander @kristenauthor.bsky.social · 10/10/2026I'm not sure I like the idea of turning it all into 'a club' but, if making light of it helps you, well, I guess it is alright. Dark humour, making light of, are very effective coping mechanisms. For some. 100

Kristen Alexander @kristenauthor.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Excellent reading and a good reminder to go to the original. Though, as I discovered recently, you can't necessarily trust press sources. I discovered every Australian report of a House of Common statement was wrong (declared the opposite). I went to UK Hansard as my source. 110
Kristen Alexander @kristenauthor.bsky.social · 02/10/2026I've only recently become acquainted with the Australian Women's Register which highlights the achievements of extraordinary women.
