It’s healthier to leave it open ended and go do your own thing, don’t think of cutting losses. I met someone who seemed uninterested. I shrugged and moved on.
Took three years, it turned out they were going through a tough time, we reconnected and are close now. Life’s weird, best not to assume 🙂
