Even if AI can handle vague prompts these days if set up properly, once thing that will never change is that someone needs to tell it WHAT to do. You want it to fix bugs? It needs to know what constitutes a bug. It needs to know what behaviors are intended.

I hate articles written this way, because this is not what the word “obsolete” means. Your Apple Watch Series 7 is not gonna suddenly stop giving you the time, or suddenly stop tracking your fitness. It still connects to iPhones running iOS 27. These “about a million” watches are not obsolete.

I understand why Apple's new upgrade program exists. I don't like it. If you like to keep your hardware for many years, it is a horrendously terrible deal -- especially since you don't own the device at the end of the lease. If you like to upgrade every year, it is an amazing deal.
