I got LOTS of pink and lots of white. You will understand. Some of these are cosplans without a true deadline to keep stress down. I want to make Sweet Piano this summer, Victorian Sailor Moon by this Fall and the burlesque Neo Queen Serenity for Akeome con in December.

I had to restrain myself, and bring a list so to not get completely overwhelmed. I used a giftcard, too. Which for all this i only spent $32.50!!!! And still have giftcard money left over. The next sale probably wont be until September.

There was a sale at the local Textile center. They resell secondhand crafting stuff in a small space behind the regular shop, called The Stashery. This is stuff people donate, and they have a sale twice a year where they take the entire center, and display EVERYTHING and it’s also 50%off too!

Managed to push through how I felt and do a couple short visits at Mercon before the snow storm hit. I went to an ASL, swap, and mermaid Makeup/Wig panel. At the swap, I got some random brown fabric (because cosplay finds me anywhere). I also made a Merclip, and checked out their vendor hall.

I MUST go back 😭. Went to Colossal Con Cruise with my husband and in-laws. It was picture perfect (sans some sleepless or nearly sleepless nights) I made Usagi’s swimsuit for the Beach Episode contest and she won Best in Show! I got that “ first con” sparkly warm special feel😭 pls I need more

Usagi Tsukino’s swimsuit. ALMOST FINISHED. I was up until midnight, took a nap, woke up at 2am to keep working. Took another nap at 5:30am, then up at 7:30am to get this done. I may need to skip Zero Two because of time, but I will try!! Sleep will happen on the plane, hotel and cruise. LFG

Here was my rough concept/idea with some work in progress shots. The bows were smaller intentionally, with multicolored ribbons. I went with full boots instead, i even made a little wand but it broke immediately at the location for photos. So I used the hilt as the wand in some shots. More to come!
